One more floor pour

Whatever that floor leveler was, it didn't dry like I expected and I had to pour a final layer of concrete. It is not my forte so however smooth it end up is how smooth it will be. I also plugged the hole in the main dome's floor that has persisted for so long. I am looking to seal both floors next time.

Raquel discovered a scorpion when she was cleaning up the jobsite.

This pile is chunks of plaster and cement that never made it to their destination. It will become filler for raised beds and other landscaping.

Perfectly smooth floors are not in the cards

Both windows are waiting for home depot to restock the stucco.

Mystery Eggs

We have a mystery on our hands. The eggs were missing when we got there today after a week off.  Were they taken? Did the bird move them? Is that even possible? The eggs were not on the floor and there was no sign of broken egg shells. But with the eggs gone, we moved the ladder out and got to work! We leveled the floor. We also sealed the concrete floor in the small sleeping room in the Solstice dome. and Raquel scared off a Quail, but she didn't see it.

Stucco will be placed around the porthole.

Poor Raquel, she's sick and still she sweeps

Nest Eggs

The plan was to sand inside the little dome and pour the floor leveling stuff at the end of the day. The rest of the time we were going to plaster the entrance to the big dome, finally! But then I discovered Mamma bird and her nest. I was excited to see the dried plaster over the door and came charging in. I startled Mamma bird and she startled me, and flew away. I realized she was sitting on a simple nest with 2 eggs. We decided to leave the little dome alone for the week.

Little white flowers everywhere.
