The desert in the fall is an amazing place that begs for procrastination. The sky does things in this season that it doesn't do during the seemingly endless Mojave summer. Everything begs for inspection and contemplation. That leaves a sliver of time for plastering. About 3 hours to be exact, but just making progress and spending the afternoon in the shadow of Goat Mountain recharges the batteries and moves the needle forward.
